DTP is calling for applications for its 27th Annual Human Rights and People’s Diplomacy Training Program for Human Rights Defenders from the Asia-Pacific Region and Indigenous Australia.
This annual, comprehensive human rights and advocacy training course is the longest established human rights training program held in the region. It builds knowledge of international human rights standards and the UN system and their relevance to advocacy on a wide range of human rights concerns. There are intensive sessions on human rights and development, advocacy and media skills.

From 10th February – 23rd February 2017, DTP conducted a survey of its alumni through a short questionnaire. The survey sought the input of alumni in identifying key human rights challenges in the Asia-Pacific Region and Middle East, priorities for knowledge and skills building and advice on DTP’s work in supporting networks. The survey has been extended till the 31st March 2017.
