Reflection and Evaluation Workshop on Capacity Building Programs on Migrant Workers’ Rights

The Diplomacy Training Program (DTP) in partnership with Migrant Forum Asia (MFA), held a two-day Reflection and Evaluation Workshop in Beirut, Lebanon from April 7-8, 2019 hosted by Cross- Regional Center for Refugees and Migrants (CCRM) and Insan Association.

The workshop brought together 18 participants the majority of whom were DTP-MFA alumni, partners and trainers, representing civil society, grassroots groups and trade unions. The participants came from across Asia and some from Middle East.

The workshop reflected and reviewed on the past fifteen-years of capacity building efforts by DTP and MFA.  There are now over 650 alumni of these programs in Asia and the Middle East, most of them working in civil society organisations but some also from the NHRIs, private sector and the government. DTP-MFA have now completed 28 programs in partnership in Asia, Pacific and the Middle East.
